Tiparos — Authentic Thai Fish Sauce
BRAND HISTORY
The Tiparos recipe was first formulated in 1910 by Laichaing Sae Tang. In 1919, the company was officially established in Chonburi Province and would go on to become Thailand's largest fish sauce producer. The brand was originally called "Bowdang" before being renamed Tiparos (ทิพรส) in the mid-20th century.
WHY TIPAROS STANDS OUT
Thai-style fish sauce has a bolder, more pronounced flavor than Vietnamese varieties — a signature style established by the brand's founder. Tiparos is used across Southeast Asian kitchens much like soy sauce is used in Chinese or Japanese cuisine — an essential base seasoning for tom yum, som tam, curries, marinades, and dressings.
WHERE IT'S MADE
Tiparos is produced at three factories — two in Chonburi and one in Samut Prakarn — strategically located near rich fishing grounds to ensure consistent quality. The brand has been exported worldwide since 1968.
WHAT YOU GET
Over a century of fish sauce-making heritage, a flavor trusted by home cooks and Thai restaurants worldwide. Tiparos isn't just a condiment — it's a living part of Thailand's culinary tradition.
