Bethasone cream is a Thai corticosteroid cream containing betamethasone valerate 0.1% (about 100 mg per 100 g). It is used to treat inflammatory skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis, allergic and contact dermatitis, eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, reactions to insect bites and psoriasis. The cream reduces redness, swelling, itching and scaling, providing fast relief and supporting skin healing.
According to product information, Bethasone cream is applied in a thin layer to affected skin areas 2–3 times daily, for external use only. Treatment courses should be short and supervised by a doctor, especially in children and when covering large areas of skin. It is contraindicated in viral and fungal skin infections, tuberculosis of the skin and in patients with known hypersensitivity to betamethasone or other cream ingredients. Always consult a dermatologist before starting long‑term or widespread use of Bethasone cream.
