Postan 500 is a Thai pain relief tablet containing 500 mg of mefenamic acid per tablet. It belongs to the group of non‑steroidal anti‑inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and is used to relieve moderate to strong pain such as headache, migraine, toothache, muscle and joint pain, arthritis, sports injuries, post‑operative pain and menstrual cramps. The tablet provides fast and long‑lasting pain relief, typically effective for 8–10 hours. It is usually taken one tablet three times a day after meals, for a short course (up to 7 days) as directed by a doctor. Postan 500 is contraindicated in patients with peptic ulcer disease, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and in children under 5 years of age. Store in a dry place, at temperatures up to +25 °C.
