Salazine 500 mg is a medication produced by Sriprasit Pharma that contains Sulfasalazine.
It is an analogue of Salazopyrin.
Sulfasalazine is an anti-inflammatory medication used for the treatment of intestinal and joint diseases.
This is a combination drug consisting of two components:
- sulfapyridine (provides antimicrobial action)
- 5-aminosalicylic acid (provides anti-inflammatory action)
It belongs to the group of disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs).
