Albendazole – Antiparasitic Treatment
Albendazole is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic medication.
Albemed contains 6 tablets of a broad-spectrum antiparasitic drug for the treatment and prevention of all types of helminths.
Albendazole is one of the most widely used antiparasitic medications in the world, known for its effectiveness against a large variety of parasites.
Albendazole causes the death of nematodes, cestodes (including pork and beef tapeworms), roundworms, and protozoa (such as Giardia).
Indications for use:
- Echinococcosis (peritoneum, liver, lungs)
- Giardiasis
- Ascariasis
- Enterobiasis
- Opisthorchiasis
- Various types of mixed helminth infections
Directions and dosage:
- Take 2 tablets once daily with food
- Course duration: 3 days
Contraindications:
- Pregnancy
- Children under 2 years of age
